Bholu the Bear and Pinky the Rabbit are very good friends.
They play together. They even run after the butterflies together.
They take a dip in the river together. They also
share their food together.
One day, Pinky goes to Bholu’s house to
play.At the door, she hears Bholu’s
mother.
‘Bholu, I have only a little honey. Drink this one bowl. I am going to the market to get more,’ she says to Bholu.
Saying this, his mother gives him a small bowl of honey. ‘Finish it by the time I am back from my shopping.’
Pinky knocks on the door
and enters.‘Hello! Friend,’ says Pinky
‘Hello Pinky! Come,share some honey with
me,’ says Bholu.
Pinky is surprised.‘But Bholu, this honey is so little. If I drink from your bowl, what will you have?’ asks Pinky.
‘You are my best friend.So let’s share the honey,’ replies Bholu.
‘I love you, Bholu!’ says Pinky.
Pinky and Bholu finish the honey together.
When Bholu’s mother comes back, she sees how much the friends love each other.
She fills two big bowls of honey and gives them to the friends. They slurp up all the honey and go out to play, happily.
